Well I've finally got some snapshots of some customs. i am taking a short break on some customs until my apoxie comes in. i have been using another apoxie-type stuff called "green stuff" mostly used for modeling smaller figures, it was annoying me so i thought I would try that other stuff out. I am mainly focusing on Spidey themed customs (cause, ya know, we don't have enough of those figures ) plus I am trying to only make ones that probably wont get made. i've already had to scratch a few off the list. But it works out, cause I am lazy Anyway, I wanted to spread out the fun, so I only brought out a few to check out for now. more coming later in the week. These few are mostly simple repaints: Stealth Iron Man: Armored Spider-Man: Molten Man: Finally, one of my favorites so far, Prowler:

And all 3 are black. I see alot of customs painted blue, have no clue why. Is it blue in the movie? I like it, either way. Looks really cool even if it doesn't exist...yet.

I already read the Peter David adaptation of the Iron Man movie. At one point he flys from Quatar (sp) to Afghanistan (sp) at night, and he's trying to avoid notice but on the return is where the dogfight with the American jets happens that you've seen in the trailers and he is in red/yellow armor by that point. So no I don't think the movie has stealth armor.

I see alot of customs painted blue, have no clue why. I dunno exactly where it started but apparently @ some point, some toy company mistook comic book coloring of the old literally and made the 1st blue stealth armor. Everyone else seemd to follow that. Pre-90s digital coloring they had no way of shading black, so usually everythin that was to be black, was actually painted blue with black shading. Thats from tires on cars, Tony Starks hair and unfortunately, the stealth armor. But its always been documented as black. Sorry for the semi-hijack Monkey.

Nice customs, it seems like we haven't seen a custom in a while.

(It should be black.) 7- I was actually debating that for a while I choose the purple to be more visibly pleasing on the shelf. Also why the depict blacks in comics as blues and purples sometimes. Plus I was using the previous toys as references. PS- I have a couple more customs that aren't 100% accurate because I substituted the black...but you will see soon enough.

Plus I was using the previous toys as references. That's what matters. If it looks good on a shelf, sell/make it. I like it! Seems more SHS that way, anyways.
