Anybody but me find this sighting a bit odd considering there is nothing of this wave on ebay? I check like every hour on the hour (no really I do) for newly listed Combat Heroes and nothing so far.

Yeah, as many movie figures that popped up almost as quick as they were in stores, you'd think the wave 3 figures would have at least shown up once.

I officially agree with dirge. I call Schenanigans! And that makes me very sad I hope we still have a Stalker in the Walmart set on the way. That one little figure is my #1 anticipated toy of the rest of the year. No really it is. Wave 3 Snake Eyes would be #2.

I need 'em all! Lady Jaye, Gung Ho, & Shipwreck are must haves for this line. And the Viper & Crimson Guard look fantastic.

I think the guy over at that board that reported the sighting may have been either confused, or lying. Mostly since he refused offers to find stuff, and I've had almost 2 dozen TRUs in Canada Checked, and nothing found yet. I'm trying to find someone in polopark to check, but I've came up empty so far. Another confirmed sighting in Canada (over on Yo Joe forums). I think it's legit.

You know, it was nice to read that thread at yojoe.com. Kind of surprised me that people were polite and receptive to the find, not these neo-collectors who always scream "These are a waste, they should put effort into the 25th figures rather than this garbage" that you always hear on other Joe boards.

Hm... so, this sucks. www.actionfigureinsider.com/main/?p=3937I guess the ones that allegedly made it out in Canada were either a fluke or a misstatement. I used to hang around the Xevoz board a lot, and, when it looked like the final wave was going to be cancelled, we made a lot of noise, wrote letters, and many of us started buying them from Asian resellers, where they had apparently made it out. I'm not sure how much of this had an effect, but the wave was eventually released online through Hasbro Toy Shop. I'm not sure if the packaged ones we've seen are actually produced ones that are just sitting in a warehouse somewhere (as was the case with Zevox wave 4), or some of a few dozen packaged test shots Hasbro produces as an internal proof (as was the case with the mythical Zevox wave 5, and as would be suggested by the comment in the above Q&A link). Anyway, for those who want to get a hold of these, it may be worth writing a letter. I know I plan to dig a little deeper at Comic Con.

Yep, that sucks pretty bad. Wonder what this means as far as the supposed Christmas set. I figured if they weren't released in 2 packs, they'd at least make it to the Christmas set.
You know, I've been getting increasingly disillusioned with GI Joe as a brand, this doesn't help. I'm going to see the movie with very low expectations, I haven't been happy with the 25th figures, I thought Resolute was way overrated, dull with crappy voice acting. I'm kind of looking forward to the video game (not expecting much there either). Hopefully we'll hear some plans for new cartoons on the Hasbro channel for Fall 2010 at Joecon next month. I kept thinking they'd throw a kids' cartoon like Combat Heroes on there along with another cartoon aimed at older kids but if they're killing the classic Combat Heroes, I don't see that happening. If it wasn't for the classic Joe cartoon, I would be done completely, the nostalgia keeps pulling me back in.

Yep, that was my question sent to Hasbro via AFI. That sucks! I keep thinking maybe Joecon will bring some new info. These Q & A's have been wrong before. Killing off Classic Combat Heroes a leaves me a little cold to ANY new GI Joe stuff. So looks like I'm done with GI Joe completely.

Sad news. Does this mean a whole wave of Kravens? I hope they reconsider.
