Damn. I got in touch with someone I kinda new in Canada from a messageboard (with a Toys R Us near him that has them - I called), and he said he's uncomfortable with the idea. Wish I had a freakin' passport.

What on Earth is there to be uncomfortable about?

Smoke, when you called them did you describe them? If so, and they said they had them then man I need to get over to Canada! I really want this set.

Yup, I told the guy on the phone that I was wondering if they had the new Combat Heroes Wave, and he said "the one with Lady Jaye? Yup, just got 'em in."
I don't have a passport (which you need now), otherwise I'd go get 'em.

I have a passport. I could hide you in the trunk.
What Providence/City is the TRU in?

What I dont get is that the article (Hasbro) clearly states that that wave 'was never produced' when in fact it was, if the Canada rumor is true, which I believe it is.

If anyone is actually heading up to Canada please let me know, I would have no problem trying to get Wave 3. I am just crossing my fingers that Wave 3 will be easier to get once the hype from the movie dies down.
The classic line could be revived since Shout! Factory is re-releasing all of the old G.I. Joe cartoon on DVD now. Or at least that is my hope and thoughts on the matter.

I didn't. I forgot to log into ebay and just watched it tick down in the last 5 minutes. So when I went to place my bid it took me to the login page. Doesn't matter since my max bid was going to be $150.57. Now I'm going to be depressed for the rest of the week I bet that zero feedback winner is making the seller a bit leery. I wonder if the seller has a couple more sets since they say they come in groups of three.

Haha, my max was $151. By the time I put it in, it had already hit $161, so it didn't take. But yeah, kind of depressing, hopefully some more will show up.

I sent the seller a message asking if he was going to put another set up. It's good to have an actual idea of the value of the set. So next time we can be better prepared.

Yeah, I hate bidding against you guys though. After seeing this auction, hopefully more sellers will throw some up on ebay, I've got no problem paying $25 a pack (and I need 2 sets) if anyone around here can pick them up and doesn't want to ebay them.

Man, I love the classic combat heroes, but no way am I paying that much for them. I hope we get some answers from Hasbro this weekend as to why this is happening.
