Haven't been able to find anything definite about Wave 3, still hoping something comes up by the end of Toy Fair, but the vehicles for the 25th line that were cancelled around the same time due to the movie will more than likely still be released: toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9&itemid=14103Combat Heroes probably don't sell as well as the 25th, but I'm still holding out hope....

Awesome! I read through most of the answers on all the sites, but must have missed that one. You know, even if we don't get anymore after that, I'll be happy as long as we get wave 3. Still hoping it continues after that though.

I'd be happy with just Lady Jaye and Gung Ho. But yeah I hope they return in some capacity after the movie hype dies down. I really think Hasbro is over-estimating the popularity of the movie style stuff coming out. I think it's gonna get ugly for our Real American Heroes.

Completely agree. I think they're hoping kids jump all over it and I just don't see how that could happen. I don't see anything about the movie designs that would appeal to kids, mine don't care at all. They want to see the movie, but they prefer the classic and more colorful 25th figures (which I'm not a huge fan of due to playability issues) but I guess we'll see.

I think we're going to seem something similar to Transformers, so the GIJoe Combat Heroes will become a mix of different universes.

I think we're going to seem something similar to Transformers, so the GIJoe Combat Heroes will become a mix of different universes. I hope for exactly what you said but Hasbro has clearly stated that, with a few exceptions, GI Joe toys will be made with the look of the movie line. At least for the rest of the year and 2010. I just worry Hasbro will release that first wave of Movie Combat Heroes and they will flop and Combat Heroes will just fade away without making the core movie team OR waves 3 and 4 of classic. I think Hasbro did themselves (and us fans) a disservice by only leading with one wave of Combat Heroes. Retailers obviously over ordered and choked on Wave 1.

Love this wave. I hope we get these released as single carded packs and then we get the rumored walmart listings (wave 4) as the Christmas set.

I guess I'm cautiously optimistic on these. I wonder if these promo shots were just mailed to them from Hasbro or what. Also why didn't any of the other GI Joe News outlets get the email?

Apparently, there's been some Wave 3 sightings in Canadian retail.

Awesome! Do we have any Canadian friends here on the board that could help us locate these? I want this wave SO BAD I'm willing to grossly overpay for a set
