Just wish these were more cartoony and shs style. They are more like mattels other small brands.

SWEET!!!! Very happy to see the first female of the Action League.....Wonder Woman. Also, DEATHSTROKE looks ace! Can't get over the size of Killowag, either. Hoochie mama! Very nice find Jester!
I wasn't ignoring the Action League, but I think most folks have been caught up by the unsettling news of the ToyFare. I really do want SHS to keep pushing forward. It's a sad day when you realize we've lost:
-Adventure Heroes -Robot Heroes -Galactic Heroes
The only heroes left are SHS, so I'm really clenching the bottom of my seat for the ride in 2011. Action League will be a nice way to brace for a fall, but I would rather get some reassurance from Hasbro that the squad will survive. I don't want the 2-packs to disappear (and I hope that particular tidbit is false.) The 3-packs always rehash 2 repaints and 1 new character and because of this, most become shelf-warmers.
Here's hoping the line doesn't fall the way of the Mighty Mugg.

Current speculation is that Wal-Mart is getting three exclusive 3-packs for the Green Lantern Action League.
Each pack would include one of the three Hal Jordans (regular, charging, translucent) along with one repack (Guy Gardner, Killowag, White Lantern Sinestro) and one new figure (Jon Stewart, Green Lantern Sinestro and Tomar Re).

Yeah, other than the clear Hal and green Sinestro, they're all being released in the 2 packs. I can pass on that.
But wave 3 is awesome. This lessons the blow of SHS dying. I like DC much more than Marvel anyway. They could have at least repainted Superman though.

Not related to our usual scale but... this is easily the coolest damn thing I've seen: It's an SDCC exclusive and notice Cobra Commander's gun is MEGATRON.

Thats a good theory, cept by the time the WM packs come out, 2 out of 3 of the 'new' figures wont be so new as some online retailers are already shipping Wave 2, which includes Tomar Re and John Stewart.

Well its nice to come to a site where everyone is devestated by the same news as I am-- And like stated I can deal with the line dying-- but a) dont replace it with a Knockoff Imginext line (if you start copying Mattel- you are making a bad decision)- and 2) Please make sure we get all the previous shown but unreleased product-- the AT-ST (US release)- and all of the assorted 3 pack missing figures (and Kraven)-- dont pull an action league.. Im still missing Laserbeak, Prowl, Xamot and Tomax..
And as far as action league-- its a sad state when only 20 characters into the DC universe and you have to actually repack a figure-- not resculpt or repaint at all-- DO NOT take the toy story buddy approach to this line..

I feel conflicted about the Galactic Heroes line ending. Whatever the reasons, I suspect that this has been in the planning stages for YEARS. Most of the starships were way out of scale, it was almost as though they were designed to be used across multiple lines. I mean, the 3.75 inch figures fit perfectly in the Jedi starfighters.
I can live with some holes in the characters hasbro produced, and I'm sure that good customs can be made to fill in the gaps. It's just frustrating that the toys intended to replace Galactic Heroes are so mediocre. Talk about a gigantic step back in terms of personality and character.
The only positive in all this is that it looks like this might be the "vehicle line" that hasbro alluded to a year ago, the one that would replace the Cinema Scenes. Since the GH vehicles are going to be approperiated for Jedi Force, it's a good bet that the lines will basically match up, with Jedi Force possible scaled just a little larger.
So, I think it's not all bad. Sure collectors may never get that Sy Snootles, or Boss Nass, but with a fresh line out there (and one that is saving TONS of tooling costs by re-using vehicles) there's a better chance of getting more GH compatable vehicles and playsets. I'm thinking a Star Destroyer, Sandcrawler, or a Blockade Runner just got 300% more likely. And I guess I'm okay with that trade-off.
