Normally, I can't stand when comic book movie adaptations stuff in 7 extra characters. Now I guess I'll be hoping that future movies use more obscure characters, like Dazzler, Quicksilver, or Cannonball. And hopefully with costumes that aren't completely off from their original duds.

I feel conflicted about the Galactic Heroes line ending. Whatever the reasons, I suspect that this has been in the planning stages for YEARS. Most of the starships were way out of scale, it was almost as though they were designed to be used across multiple lines. I mean, the 3.75 inch figures fit perfectly in the Jedi starfighters. I can live with some holes in the characters hasbro produced, and I'm sure that good customs can be made to fill in the gaps. It's just frustrating that the toys intended to replace Galactic Heroes are so mediocre. Talk about a gigantic step back in terms of personality and character. The only positive in all this is that it looks like this might be the "vehicle line" that hasbro alluded to a year ago, the one that would replace the Cinema Scenes. Since the GH vehicles are going to be approperiated for Jedi Force, it's a good bet that the lines will basically match up, with Jedi Force possible scaled just a little larger. So, I think it's not all bad. Sure collectors may never get that Sy Snootles, or Boss Nass, but with a fresh line out there (and one that is saving TONS of tooling costs by re-using vehicles) there's a better chance of getting more GH compatable vehicles and playsets. I'm thinking a Star Destroyer, Sandcrawler, or a Blockade Runner just got 300% more likely. And I guess I'm okay with that trade-off. While I don't personally feel it is necessarily a step backwards, it always upsets me when a toy producer changes designs on a good seller. I cut my teeth on the Galactic Heroes back when they were produced under the Playskool label and before that on their precursor Jurassic Park Jr. (I have the complete set of both) As my name suggests, I'm a fan of Imaginext. But even they suffer from constantly changing styles and I haven't been a fan of all the designs or even of the most recent designs besides the DC Super Friends Line. The one thing that has been consistent is the vehicles and creatures. And I've always found both to be compatible to the Heroes figures. Like you said, though, the new vehicles look to be compatible with the Galactic Heroes as most of the Superhero Squad vehicles look to be reused. Now for that line, it's not a good thing. The majority of the Superhero Squad vehicles were kinda lame. Look at it this way, how many toylines have there been, besides Star Wars, where we've gotten such a good representation of the characters. Hell, my Battlestar Galactica figures are missing Apollo, Boomer, Colonel Tigh etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm sad to see these lines end, but I try to look at the positive side. We'll get more ships and for me, that's a good thing. I see that as the line not ending, just shifting gears. We just have to roll with the punches and adapt. Besides, this board has some exceptional customizers.

I apologize if it was already mentioned in the threads, but when might we see the Avengers SHS 3 packs? I've already seen big Avengers-Movie displays at Walmart and Kmart but no peg for SHS or mention in the dioramas.

I kept thinking I'd see these guys on the Avengers displays too.
