The skintone paint I have is from Folkart. I've had it for about 4 years, but it was chunky when I first bought it.
I'm starting to use acrylic paints now for my customs, just a 12 color set. I tried making the tone I wanted (Commander Nebula, but the picture doesn't help with the color) but it's close enough in person and works for me.

So i'm going to use a Taskmaster that i have for make the Pirate Deadpool. I just have no idea how to make the hat. I'm afraid sculpting it would be too weak. Any thoughts or tips on how to make the hat?

The hats I made for my pirates were super Sculpey. They've held up well. You could probably gauge the thickness by my photos. Since baking is recommended, you might try sculpting it on his head without pushing it on too hard, taking it off to put in the oven separately (the figure will melt), and then gluing it back to his head before painting. I like using a two part epoxy such as JB Weld to glue to the pvc.

Any tips for doing eyes, other then "just paint them on"? Specially girl's eyes. I have a Domino i'm trying to make and i'm using an Aurra Sing head. Her eye's are a little too big for Domino. I was going to try just coping another female character's eyes design but i have a really hard time with painting detail that small, specially if it has to look symmetrical. Any tips would be appreciated.

You could try just painting around the original eyes, thus shrinking them instead of having to redo them; Aurra's seem to be pointy on the edges so just round that part off.

Okay, public service announcement from all of us who have inflicted an injury upon ourselves with an Exacto knife:
Push the knife away from your body; don't pull the knife toward yourself.
Knowing is half the battle.

I'm fine. It happened in the past to me, but I was PMing one of our colleagues who sliced himself recently between the thumb and finger.

How do you guys disassemble Imaginext figures? Does the chest cavity have to be split open to get the arms and legs out without cutting or something?

So, I have finally stared making my fleet of SHIELD vehicles. Thanks for all the tips guys!
Question: Has anyone tried removing any of the door hinge pins on an Imaginext vehicle? It looks like I could tap one out with a skinny punch tool, but I was hoping someone here has some experience with these.
Reference = I'm working on a Joker Van, and there are pins in the two back doors and on the windshield.
As always, muchos gracias for sharing your brains!

I avoid doing pin work, But i know a few guys who do it. The punch tool should work (fingers crossed), but you will want to heat it up before you pop. Not sure if that was common sense or not. It was something i wouldn't have thought about. Good Luck!
