Since I don't know that reference, I'm guessing....DC character?

Yea, more specifically the super friends version of Solomon Grundy. I'm thinking about touching him up with maybe some sculpt on the shoes to make them look like boots.. But without further delay I present my latest custom, the undead monster himself.

Nice paint job...for a DC character...I guess. I do like the color combination on him. Good job!

I know my posts lack your "make mine marvel" flavor, lol. Yea put him together (swapped the original hands with the Frankenstein from the same line) and painted him all up in five hours or so... Was feeling a bit loopy afterwards from the paint fumes, but like I said I might tweak him a bit in time, but he works for now...

Yea, creeper head, zombie torso legs and arms, and Frankenstein hands (seeing how the zombie's were too small and not very Grundy like...)

Hey everyone, I know it's been awhile since I last posted, but here I am with a new custom. I've decided to branch out and try working with some different figures. This is David Boreanaz's character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin-off Angel. It was made from four Funko Mystery Minis. I included a build guide as well to show off the figures used in making him. I have quite a few of these planned, also trying my hand at customizing some funko pops as well. I should hopefully be more active on here again seeing how things are starting to settle down at work a bit.

He is the same scale as the robocop figure. I stumbled upon them and just got hooked. I also really like the wide variety of pieces available in the scale and I can make more then just super hero figures with them too. My wife loved Buffy and Angel so figured I had the pieces and time available so threw him together relatively quickly with minimal painting required.

I loved Buffy and Angel too. I think i actually like Angel better. The Graphic novels that take place after the series ended are really good. Nice work BTW! i would be inclined to check out this figure... if they weren't in blind bags.

Thanks, I've heard pretty good things about the graphic novels, just haven't had a chance to check them out yet. I I've been pretty lucky finding them for a really good price in lots on eBay, or even at trade shows around me. One nice thing is they are new so much easier to come by and larger quantities available which helps with prices, lol. My only complaint is that they are a lot thicker then shs figures so you have to press harder to dissect them and not as easy to twist the blade in while cutting. Might try heating up the pieces before I cut them on my next figure to see if that helps some.

Hey everyone I bring you another custom from yet another line and scale. I saw this Imperial Guard Funko POP figure in the store the other day and instantly thought of making one of these with it. I also wanted to try out something quick and simple with this scale seeing how I have a few others planned. Some advise though, painting a bobble head isn't very fun and especially when they are holding an item within knocking range of the wet head, lol. This was a very simple repaint of the Imperial Guard, but I trimmed down the staff slightly and attached a 3.75" lightsaber blade to the end of it to create the pike. Hope you all like it and hope to have some more customs to post again soon.

Pretty cool! I'm kinda hoping Rey does something like that when Luke has her build her own lightsaber in the next movie.
