Jetman, we've got tons of Dr. Who figures here in RI...a local chainstore/comic shop called Newbury comics has just bout every figure. I love the show but can't afford to start collecting a new line right now...or I'd totally get on these. They're great figures! Well sculpted with great variations, accessories, an a decent value for what you're getting (some come in 2 or 3 pks!)
(PS...I'll be dropping you a PM hopefully tomorrow re: some GH action! Thanks bro!) Joe

Yep, I haven't bought any figs yet...resisting temptation! Even tho Newbury has marked some of them down to the $5-%8 range. There's plenty of online retailers selling them to so you don't have to truck all the way to the UK to get them. My TRU has been stocking Sonic Screwdirvers for some odd reason. That's the only Who thing in the whole store!

Thanks for the lead to Newbury. They have all sorts of other cool stuff that I might want to collect some day. I cleaned out my TRU with the items you see in the pix. From here out it is online. The UK stores have all the newer stuff that have not gotten to the US market yet. These places have stuff that I would order from. www.whona.com/www.bbcamericashop.com

At least whona.com is local for shipping! Dude they have the first 2 seasons of The Tomorrow People for $18. If I hadn't recently watched them, I'd be scoopin those up! The latest issue of Previews shows a Dalek helmet voice changer, says it even has the eye stalk

Sounds like a bit of tenange X-Men and Torchwood. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tomorrow_People... I was thinkiing about doing the dalek voice for Halloween but $65 picks up a few iceman and rogues.. plus the 4 new GH sets are going to cost me a few good dinners.

Hi Starscreams Ghost, If there are SHS you are looking for it would be a good idea to post it in the Have/Wants and you might get lucky. Since I live in this California bubble anomoly, my stores seem to get a continuous supply of newer SHS but they go very quickly. Wave 7 and 8 are currently in/out of the shelves. If I had to guess, S/H to UK from California would be $15+ so bulk would be a good thing. The funny thing is, I love Doctor Who and on my last vacation I got to the other 7 countries across the channel but ran out of energy to go visit Earl's Court and Cardiff I just found another site that has just about everything except Jack with Trench Coat and Sara Jane with K9. The best thing about this one is free shipping for orders over $50. The bad thing is my wish list way OVER that www.impulsecreations.netI also found on ebay David Tenant & Peter Davidson 2 pack special.... I would assume these were on your pegs right around January. Hi Dex1138, this is the first time I hear of this show so now I got to go find some episodes to check it out. Sounds like a bit of tenange X-Men and Torchwood. Just keep in mind, this was 70s BBC scifi I loved the show as a kid when it was on Nickelodeon here. And upon recent rewatching, of course everything looks dated but i still really like the stories. Plus I grew up on 80s TV and Tom Baker's Doctor so I can get past cheesy effects and still enjoy it Slightly funny story... The last big Star Wars convention in the US (Celebration 4) was coming up and I was redoing my hyperdrive repair man costume. Just a couple weeks before the con, the Sonic toy came out so I had to get one for my costume to go with my other prop tools....mixing mythos be damned! We were waiting in line to see something and the line guy happend to be from the UK. he was checking out my tool pouch and exclaimed "Hey! Is that a sonic screwdriver?" hehe You can kinda see it in the middle of the other tools: Photo

I picked up the 10th Doc, Rose, Slitheen set for $15 on mark down. Rose is ok, Doc is good but his trench kinda limits his poseability, the Slitheen freakin rocks! Tons of articulation and great work on the face. Hopefully those past series toys will be in scale with the new ones so I can have Baker & Tennant side by side Been waiting to see any Season 4 figs. and a quick Google and there you go!Oh boy, my wife's going to flip when she sees the Adipose!
