I blame this line for me wasting almost an entire day reading about Doctor Who on wikipedia.
While at work.

These look fantastic. And there are at least a few sets I HAVE to have. I need the one with the Good Doctor in it, and I wouldn't mind having the Scarecrow set as he would fit into the 'Squad' line. I hope Mattel sees the warm reception these lines are getting nd gives us something similar DC related soon...and I'm not talking about those shoddy 3" figures they put out recently! They don't fit. These other companies are having no issue matching the scale and style of the SHS and GH lines...it's obviously notthat difficult.

Is there any chance we could get a forum section put up for these?

I think we should wait until the figures are released. If only the 3 5-packs are released, I dont think it's worth a whole section.

Maybe a section we could just lump SHS-GH scale toys into like the Hellboy ones and these.

I think we should wait until the figures are released. If only the 3 5-packs are released, I dont think it's worth a whole section. 3 5-Packs or 6 2-Packs. But I agree, maybe we should have an SHS-scale forum/directory.

I'd imagine they're going to crank these out like they are the regular figures so hopefully there will be more sets...and of course sets of Classic stuff too!

Action Figure reports: There are 15 detailed figures to collect including characters from Series 1, 2, 3 & 4. You will find the Doctor plus many other familiar characters, enemies and monsters. Each figure is highly detailed and have different levels of articulation. There are a number of 2-packs but annoyingly, you are unable to collect all the figures this way: Cyberman & Dalek Doctor & Sontaran Doctor & Vashta Nerada Scarecrow & Pyrovile Slitheen & Weeping Angel Supreme Dalek & Clockwork Man The 5-packs contain some unique figures Cyberman, Black Dalek, Scarecrow, Vashta Nerada & Sontaran Bronze Dalek, Sycorax, Natural Ood, Pyrovile & Clockwork Man Forbidden Planet is already taking pre-orders. The 2-packs are £4.99, whilst the 5-packs weigh in at as cost-effective £9.99 each. These are expected to hit stores at the end of March 2009

Those two packs are smart. A Cyberman/Dalek pack is a straight army builder, and three of the Slitheen/Weeping Angel packs gets you a set of each of them.

Yipeeeee.... Maybe a teaser?? I dunno but I am really hoping they get the Time Squad going. Impulse Creations (USA! Tulsa, OK) iis already listing these on their website as out of stock. $14.49 for 5 pack. $8.89 for 2 pack. Kinda comparable to SH/GH. www.impulsecreations.net/catalog/advanced_search_result.php/cid/3727/keywords/%20time%20squadIf the link is not working go to their site and type in time squad. These are in my want list so if there is an update I will get an email. (along with Magnus/Song/Supreme) I spent way too much money at that place already. On the army builder thoght: the 5" daleks and cyberman are sometimes on sale for $5-$7, but 2" scale onese are cool as an army buider too.

Email response from Impulse Creations:
"Jan.11.2008: The Time Squad figures were just added to the store this past week and don't have a definite release date. They will most likely be in within the next two months though but could come in at any time."
=hopefully sooner than the next two months. Keep in mind that when the 5" Classic Who line came out it got snatched within the first few hours. I recommend signing up for the wish list notification.
