I know Newbury comics the larger Who figures....I didn't realize these were put out by the same folks. If so that's a positive thing...hopefully Newbs won't rape the consumer on these like they do with SHS. I've seriously seen some new SHS sets for 13, 14.99 each. Friggin lame.

Oddly they don't rape you on import toys, just domestic ones. Their Muggs & Star Wars figures are horrible. They seem to price them by popularity even tho in regular stores they are all priced the same. I'll be checking for these next month!

Good point Dex...I checked out the Who figures the other day and they were actually very reasonably priced...cheaper than most of the 3 3/4" Star Wars figures, actually. I'm hoping they don't take advantage of the stylistic nature of this line and charge more though. I notice the SHS are ridiculously expensive, as are other 'stylized' figures (Minimates, Mez Itz, etc). Guess we'll see next month. I'd love to have all of these but as long as I get the Good Doctor I can call it a day and move onto Hellboy

Hi ScottM,
I peaked at your pB account photos! These look cool with the SHS. Did you say you got these on ebay or already on the UK pegs?
IMO, your photo says it all 1 Dalek would wipe the floor with the entire SHS and Doom would get smoked! GH would stand a better chance.
THE REAL CLONE WAR and Army Builder = Clone Troopers vs. Sontarans!

Thanks, These are popping up on Ebay for $45 for 15 figures, but the $20 post from UK is a dinger.
I hope Impulse gets it in stock soon as it is close to the free s/h for orders $50+.

I was reposting the review from Dr Who Toys site, not my pics sadly. Plenty of more pics. Clicking on each one will bring up a couple different views for the fig.

On a side note they had these on display at the Vivid stand at the UK Toyfair (I went mainly to see the Terminator Salvation toys), and they did look awesome.
Additionally they had a whole load of Scooby Doo SHS/Time Squad style figures. Since then i've noticed these are already on shelves in the UK.
